Look for them at your stops.   A portion of all proceeds will benefit the Casa Foundation and Appreciation for Military Families…     One of the purposes of this Poker walk is to have fun and enjoy fellow Krewe Members and their guests. However, it is a walking Poker tournament so we must have rules listed to determine the winners. This year will be through Ybor City with more details to follow.                                                                             SEE BELOW *Anyone over 21 years of age can participate * Participants can buy a poker card at any STOP * If a participate is playing more than 1 poker hand on a sheet, they must play each hand from the top to the bottom by drawing the first card for each hand in that order before drawing a second card for the same hand. EX: ( if playing 3 hands per sheet, the first three cards are applied one per hand from top to bottom and at the next stop the same order will continue) * Cards will be shuffled after each draw * If any card drawn is a duplicate of a card previously drawn on a hand, it must be redrawn, no hand can have exact cards EX:  You cannot have 2 Kings of Hearts on one hand) * Ace’s count high for all hands EX: (a pair of Ace’s beats a pair of Kings) * In a straight an Ace can count low EX: (A 2 3 4 5) or high EX: (10 J Q K A) but not both EX: (Q K A 2 3) * At the last stop anyone participant has the option of buying additional cards per hand for $5.00. The participant must tell the dealer which card they will be replacing before the additional card is drawn, NO EXCEPTIONS.   Winning hands from highest to Lowest  Royal Flush: Five card sequence from 10 to the Ace in the same suit (10,J,Q,K,A). Straight Flush: Any five card sequence in the same suit. (ex. 8, 9,10,J,Q and A, 2,3,4,5 of same suit). All the cards are of the same suit, and all are consecutive. Ranking between straights is determined by the value of the high end of the straight. Four of a Kind: All four cards of the same index (ex. J,J,J,J). Full House: Three of a kind combined with a pair (ex. A,A,A,5,5). Ties on a full house are broken by the three of a kind, as you cannot have two equal sets of three of a kind in any single deck. Flush: Any five cards of the same suit, but not in sequence. Don't be tricked into thinking that all five cards are the same color. The high card determines the winner if two or more people have a flush. Straight: Five cards in sequence, but not in the same suit. A straight cannot wrap, meaning it is not a straight if you have a Queen, King, Ace, Two, Three. The higher straight wins if two or more people have a straight. In case of straights that tie, the pot is split. Three of a Kind: Three cards of the same value. The highest set of three cards wins. Two Pair: Two separate pairs (ex. 4,4,Q,Q). As usual the pair with the higher value is used to determine the winner of a tie. Pair: One pair of two equal value cards constitutes a pair. High Card: If no one has any of the above winning hands, the tie is determined by the highest value card in the hand. If the highest cards are a tie then the tie is broken by the second highest card. Suits are not used to break ties. The KCOTB Admiral has authority to rule on all issues and his decision is FINAL
